Plans and visions - an introduction

Our core work in the Creative Quarter is designed to support a broader vision of a revitalised town, a vision which pulls together many threads of creative and entrepreneurial endeavour.

In this section we pull out some of the most important of those threads, not least to clarify the relationship between them. For example the development of Folkestone’s harbour area will have a direct impact on the Creative Quarter, but the Creative Foundation itself is not directly involved in determining the future of the harbour and seafront. Here we’ll explain how all the elements will come together.
